The DRV2400R upgrades are registered memory modules, which conform to JEDEC's DDR4, PC4-2400T standard. The DRV2400LR is a load-reduced memory module (LRDIMM). One EEPROM is used for Serial Presence Detect and a combination register/PLL, with Address and Command Parity is also used.
