The USB Type C to 3.5mm audio adapter will allow you to connect 3.5mm stereo equipment to your USB type C device, this is especially useful for phones/tablets etc that have one USB Type C port only. With phone manufacturers trying to save space to make phones smaller, they are reducing the number of ports on a phone to just one USB C port. This means that adapters have to be purchased in order to use accessories etc. This adapter is for newer phones etc that have only a USB C port.
