The 99CDL-8 range of "SuperSpeed USB" Type A (male) to Type B (male) cables support a data transfer rate up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s), which is about ten times faster than USB 2.0 technology.
This is a Type A to A cable; it is designed to connect a Host to a Device. These cables are often used to connect a Host computer to a faceplate with a Type A socket.
